Description
1961-63 Eddie Kasko Game Worn Jersey. Pinstriped Cincinnati Reds vest is the home style worn by the All-Star shortstop/third baseman from the 1961 National League Championship season until his departure for Houston following the 1963 campaign. Baseball jersey aficionados are aware that the Reds were the first Major League club to forgo sleeves, inspiring the Pirates and the Athletics to follow suit soon after. This model is 100% original and unaltered, with the chenille team logo patch over the heart, balance by a two-tone tackle twill number "10" at right chest. Number "10" is repeated on verso. The entirety of tagging is confined to the "MacGregor Size 42" label inside the collar. Wear is strong, very possibly indicating more than a single season's use. LOA from Lou Lampson.Auction Info
