Description
1933 Lionel Conacher Signed Autograph Album Sheet. During the first half of the 20th century there was no Canadian-born athlete more popular than Lionel Conacher. A champion in multiple sports, "The Big Train" was a member of the 1921 Grey Cup champion Toronto Argonauts, as well as a baseball champion in the International League 1926 with the Toronto Maple Leafs. On the rink, he won a Memorial Cup in 1920, and the coveted Stanley Cup on two occasions. Offered here is a high-grade autograph album page that Conacher signed in Mint blue ink. Measuring at 4.5x6", this crease-free example is dated "1933" in an unknown hand. Superb exemplar from one of the greatest all-around athletes the sporting world has ever seen.
