Description

1907 Liebig "Die Elektrizitat" Nikola Tesla SGC EX 5. We all take electricity for granted. Lights, televisions, appliances, heaters all run on electricity and all work simply by flipping a switch to "On." It's not that simple and even though Thomas Edison, gets the lion share of the credit, it was Serbian-born Nikola Tesla who was an inventor and engineer who made monumental discoveries in the fields of electrical generation and master of AC or alternating current. Nikola arrived in the USA in 1884 and by the end of the decade he had already had a quantity of patents regarding the generation of electricity. His work was a threat to large corporations and upon the settlement of his estate much of his paperwork (although recorded earlier by the FBI) had disappeared. From Germany, offered is a scarce 1907 Liebig "Die Elektrizitat" card of Nikola Tesla. Graded SGC EX 5.
