Description

1991 Mike Utley Game Worn, Signed Detroit Lions Jersey. Despite giving the Silverdome crowd an inspirational thumbs up after he was taken off the field on a stretcher, after a hit suffered during a game on November 17, 1991, Mike Utley became paralyzed from the chest down, and was forced to retire.

Presented here is Utley's white mesh road jersey that he wore during his final NFL season. Exhibiting tremendous wear, with a great scattering of team repairs, stains and hit marks throughout, it is signed on the back in bold black ink. In addition, the proper "Wilson size 52" tagging is in the tail. An absolutely superb gamer representing the iconic Motown sports figure. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
