Description
1938 New York Yankees News Photograph with Gehrig, DiMaggio. Another World Championship season in the Bronx, and with a roster like this, is it any surprise? This Type I original vintage photo, complete with paperwork from PSA/DNA, captures the following pinstriped legends, from left to right: Ruffing, DiMaggio, Gehrig, Dickey, Pearson. They are identified in pencil on reverse, where the remnants of the original paper caption can be found. Photo measures 6x7.75" and exhibits no flaws of note but for the removal of the white borders, certainly done by the newspaper's editorial staff for printing purposes.
