Description

1923 Ottawa Senators Player's Jacket. According to Heritage's hockey expert Bill Campbell, this is the first 1923 Ottawa Senators team jacket from the Stanley Cup-winning squad he has ever come across, and the first example ever to hit the hobby. Very significant, as the Senators won the Stanley the same year this piece was team-issued, and probably even more important, this jacket was purchased in Ottawa last year from the son of a former Senators player. This piece shows extremely heavy wear, with a considerable amount of scuffing on the exterior black leather, and heavy soiling on the interior. A beautiful Senators "O" patch adorns the left breast, with the original "Grant-Holden-Gral" tag attached at one side in the collar. Two buttons are missing, with one replacement button at the bottom, and traces of light blue paint on the right sleeve. Serious vintage hockey specialists appreciate the desirability of 1920's Ottawa Senators memorabilia. Here's a chance to own a piece that even the experts have never seen.
