Description

Mid 1990's Floyd Mayweather Match Worn & Signed Boxing Gloves with Extensive Provenance. Floyd Mayweather began his career with blazing speed, dazzling skill, and unmatched confidence. His Olympic bronze in 1996 was just the start-he stormed through opponents with brilliance, capturing his first world title in only his 18th fight. Nicknamed "Pretty Boy" for his untouched face, Mayweather dominated with a ring IQ far beyond his years. His early career was nothing short of spectacular, laying the foundation for an era of boxing excellence.

These Cleto Reyes 8 ounce boxing gloves were used by Mayweather during the early stages of his career. Authentication is secured with a letter of provenance from JO Sports Inc., WBC Authentication and Travis Roste. According to Roste's letter, Mayweather wore this style of Cleto Reyes from his beginning in 1996 until the early 2000's. According to an additional letter of provenance, these originated from a Hollywood agent's collection. Both gloves show wear and have athletic tape surrounding the wrist region. Mayweather signed both in attractive bold black felt tip. Letter of provenance from JO Sports, Craig Hamilton. Letter of provenance from Travis Roste. Letter of provenance from WBC Authentication. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
