1996 Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup Championship Ring Presented to General Manager Pierre LaCroix. Pierre Lacroix left an indelible mark on the hockey world through his visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to excellence. As the architect behind the Colorado Avalanche's golden era, he built championship teams that captivated fans and set new standards for success. Under his stewardship, the Avalanche won two Stanley Cups (1996 and 2001), fueled by shrewd trades, such as acquiring Patrick Roy and Ray Bourque, and nurturing a culture of winning. The size 11.75 prize has a burgundy stone at the face with a diamond filled Avalanche logo taking center stage. Left shank has "LaCroix" raised with "It's All About Commitment, "1st" and "GM" with a diamond in the center. Opposite side features "Colorado Avalanche Inaugural Season" along with the scores of the playoff series and an image of the Stanley Cup. "14k" is featured on the inner band. The original Diamond Cutters International purple velvet box ("Pierre Lacroix" applied to a sticker) and a separate cardboard storage box is included. Weight is fifty grams (50g.). This is the first '96 Avalanche ring to reach the auction block we have had. Fine condition.
