2005 David Patten Super Bowl XXXIX Game Worn New England Patriots Jersey - Photo Matched to 3 Additional Games (10 Catches, 221 Yards & 2 TD)! A three-time Super Bowl champion, wide receiver David Patten wore this jersey in Super Bowl XXXIX versus the Philadelphia Eagles at Alltel Stadium on February 6, 2005. New England prevailed, 24-21, powered by quarterback Tom Brady's 236 passing yards and two touchdowns and wide receiver Deion Branch's eleven receptions for 133 receiving yards. Branch was named the game's MVP.Best of all the pants have been conclusively photo matched to:
10/3/04 versus the Bills - 5 catches for 113 yards and 1 TD.
11/7/04 versus the Rams - 2 catches for 34 yards.
12/5/04 versus the Browns - 3 catches for 74 yards and 1 TD.
2/6/05 versus the Eagles - Super Bowl XXXIX.
In their LOA, Davious Sports writes "This jersey was likely worn all season."
The white mesh jersey sports white/blue Dazzlecloth shoulders and sleeves, stretchy blue side panels, triple sewn-on red/white/blue tackle twill identifiers, Pats branding on front/sleeves, Reebok "04-44" swatch in the collar and the fabulous Super Bowl XXXIX patch sewn at the upper left chest. Customizations to the jersey can be found at the sleeve ends and tail. Best of all, the jersey exhibits evidence of game use, including team stitch repair, hit marks, dirt stains, field paint and fraying of the identifiers. The presence of the team repair indicates that jersey was one for more than one game. Also, it is important to note that much of the wear mentioned above can only be fully appreciated through high resolution images and/or upon a physical inspection of the garment.
