Description
Circa 1970 Waite Hoyt Single Signed Stat Baseball. We salute you autograph collector/fan John Taylor for giving the autograph collecting world this Waite Hoyt stat baseball. Decades before getting athletes to sign their accomplishments onto a baseball was common practice, Taylor thought way outside the box when he persuaded Hoyt to sign this ONL (Giles) baseball and include a multitude of stats - most of the pennings rate 7/10. Stats will be notated by the panel. North - "years in major leagues 1918 to May 1938." South - "Won 237 Lost 182 Innings 3,762." West - "World Series 7 1921, '22 '23, 26 27 '28, '31 Won 6 Lost 4." East - "To John Taylor." The original box which housed the ball is included. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.Auction Info
