Description

1997 Wade Boggs Game Used New York Yankees Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10. Millions of Red Sox fans nearly lost their minds when their star third baseman was traded to the hated Yankees, and seeing him on horseback during the 1996 World Series celebration almost killed some.

This bat (34.375" and 32.7 ounces) finds the 2005 Hall of Fame inductee during his final season in pinstripes. The bat has rightfully earned its grade of PSA/DNA GU 10 with outstanding use characteristics. Heavy pine tar, ball marks, stitch impressions on the right and back barrel and cleat marks are all visible on this beauty. "12" is written on the knob. Uncracked, the lumber is among the finest from Boggs' tenure in New York. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
