Description
1931 W502 Lou Gehrig #32 PSA EX-MT 6. This rare W502 is from the 1931 version sold four years after the first cards appeared right after the famed '27 season that saw Gehrig, not Ruth, earning MVP honors. The 1931 cards are much harder to find with a total PSA population around a third of the 1928 series. An actual game may one day be found as text on the backs suggests these are game cards and not your typical gum card. The back reads, "One Bagger, Hold What You Got." Close to flawless front surface, and corners showing mild corner tip wear, this obscure black & white card measures 1-3/8" x 2-1/2" and has been graded PSA EX-MT 6.
