Description

1912-15 Miller Huggins Pro Model/Pro Stock Bat, PSA/DNA Authentic. Best remembered as the manager of the New York Yankees from 1918 until his passing in 1929, Miller Huggins was a pretty decent player in his youth, earning an endorsement contract from Spalding that gave birth to this signature model bat. After thorough examination, our third-party authenticator is of the opinion that this specimen was used by Huggins during the referenced period. Length is just short of thirty-two inches (31.875"), weight almost thirty-eight ounces (37.7 oz.), which are within Huggins' personal specifications. Heavy game use and weathering is apparent, and handle crack is secured with ancient tape. The letter "E" is carved into the knob for unknown reasons. LOA from PSA/DNA, Authentic.
