1977 Topps Andre Dawson - Rookie Outfielders #473 PSA Mint 9. Andre Dawson was a standout player who competed for 21 seasons in the Major Leagues, the majority of which were spent with his first team, the Montreal Expos (11 years). A slugger who pack a wallop (438 home runs), Dawson made an immediate impact with the Expos and won NL Rookie of the Year honors in 1977. He later was named NL MVP in his first season with the Chicago Cubs after clubbing 47 home runs and knocking in 137 runs. Offered is a 1977 Topps card titled "Rookie Outfielders" that features Dawson along with three other up-and-coming rookies: Gene Richards, John Scott and Denny Walling. This example of card #473 from the '77 Topps set is in terrific condition with nice centering, bright white borders, four sharp corners, and a clean reverse. Graded PSA Mint 9.
