1973 Topps Pete Rose #130 PSA Mint 9. The late Pete Rose has been atop Major League Baseball's all-time hits mountain since September 11, 1985. That was the day he surpassed Ty Cobb's longtime record of 4,191 hits (since updated to 4,189). Rose would go on to finish his career with 4,256 hits, of which 3,215 went for base knocks. Offered is a 1973 Topps card that captures Rose from the season in which he went on to be named NL MVP after batting a league-best .338 after leading the Majors with 230 hits. This example of card #130 from the '73 Topps series is found in Mint condition with vivid color, solid registration, snow white borders and a flawless reverse. Graded PSA Mint 9.
