Description

Circa 1930 Babe Ruth Signed Baseball with Later Autographs. The discovery ancient Yankees ball encouraged a baseball fan to continue upon the theme, creating a unique orb which spans decades of Bronx history. The ball begins with a black fountain pen sweet spot signature from the Babe, applied with 7/10 boldness over a dark bruise which would suggest the OAL ball was game used prior to its signing. Applied with the same pen are autographs from fellow Yankees Lyn Lary and Roy Sherid, each equally bold. Fast forward to the 1970's for the blue ballpoint balance, which includes Reggie Jackson on the opposing sweet spot, Mike Torrez, Phil Niekro and, somewhat cryptically, Warren Spahn. These autographs range from 4/10 to 9/10 in strength. Time to add Jeter and A-Rod? We'll leave that up to you. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
