1986 "Palo Club" Hall of Fame Trophy Presented to Willie McCovey from The Willie McCovey Collection. An active member of the bay area community for many decades, Mac was presented with this sizeable piece of hardware in the same year he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Features figural batsman (silver metal, bat no longer present) atop loving cup (silver metal) and wood base. Inscription plate reads "Palo Club Salutes Willie McCovey, San Francisco Giants. Hall of Fame 1986." Stands twenty-two Inches (22") high and weighs six pounds (6 lbs.). Letter of provenance from Willie McCovey's widow.Auction Info
