Description

1970's Satchel Paige Single Signed Baseball. Fellow Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean once said of Paige, "He's a better pitcher than I ever hope to be," explaining that "My fastball looks like a change of pace alongside that little pistol bullet Satchel shoots up to the plate." Perhaps the greatest pitcher ever developed by the Negro Leagues, Paige applied a wonderfully 9/10 black ink inscription to the side panel of this ONL (Feeney) ball, which has toned moderately but still presents very well. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
