1929 Texas Relays Program Signed by Knute Rockne & Others, PSA/DNA Mint 9. The Texas Relays have long been an institution in the Lonestar State. The track and field competition began in 1925 and was in response to the Kansas Relays. The weather could be a huge hindrance at the University of Kansas. This program was issued March 29, 1929 and is signed by a number of the high ranking officials. Front and center is the 9/10 signature of Notre Dame icon Knute Rockne. The coach of Notre Dame served as a referee. Others who signed include: Doc McLean Jay Wyatt, Clyde Littlefield and a few more of the men who helped out.
