1910's Orange Borders Pittsburgh Pirates and Detroit Tigers Teams (10). The 1910 Orange Border baseball cards set remains a mystery as to its exact origin but they appear to have been circulated as panels on boxes of an as-yet to be identified candy, much like a few other sets of the era. In addition to the single player cards, the set featured two team cards, the 1909 National League Champion Pittsburgh Pirates (7 cards) and American League Champion Detroit Tigers (3 cards). Each card has been hand cut, with all but one showing some orange border on all four sides. Due to some level of damage on each, they are technically in PR to FR condition but we will assume the each would only receive an "authentic" simply because they are hand cut.Auction Info
