1984 Los Angeles Summer Olympics Basketball Full Ticket Signed by Michael Jordan (UDA), PSA Authentic Auto 9. Sacre bleu! The French team never stood a chance against Bobby Knight's elite squad, which trampled all nations en route to the United States' ninth Gold Medal in eleven Olympics dating back to 1936 Berlin. The 1984 Americans are just about universally considered to be the most talented Olympians to play before the rule change allowing NBA stars to participate in the Games, with four of the five 1984 consensus first-team All-Americans: Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Wayman Tisdale and Sam Perkins.The game this ticket represents saw the US more than double the French offensive output in the first half, leading 57-25 at the break before taking their foot off the gas a bit to win by a final score of 120-62. Jordan contributed sixteen points to the winning cause in this second-to-last game of group competition before the knockout stage began.
