1909-11 T206 Sweet Caporal Hughie Jennings (Portrait) PSA EX-MT 6. For the better part of 40 years Hugh Jennings excelled as a player and as a manager. Regardless of his role, success followed. He was an excellent shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles who won National League championships in 1894, 1895 and 1896. For 13 seasons Jennings managed/coached the Detroit Tigers starting in 1907. His Tigers, with the help of Sam Crawford and Ty Cobb, won AM pennants in 1907, '08 and 1909. Offered is his "Portrait" card from the T206 series with a "Sweet Caporal - 350 Subjects" with a Factory 30 designation reverse. Very nice example with a precisely centered central image.
