2021 Max Verstappen Mexico Grand Prix Race Worn F1 Firesuit -- Photo Matched! Striking special edition firesuit has been professionally photo matched to the 2021 Mexico Grand Prix, held on November 7, where Max Verstappen delivered a standout performance. The race worn suit is matched to Getty Images (1351731045, 1351732251) and multiple images from the RAI Formula 1 database, confirming its use throughout the weekend. Verstappen qualified third and went on to win the race after an aggressive start, overtaking both Mercedes cars in Turn 1-an opening move widely considered one of the most iconic starts of his career. He would take the checkered flag on Sunday, defeating Lewis Hamilton by 16.55 seconds.
