1986 500 Home Run Club Original Painting by Ron Lewis.
Anybody who has been involved in the sports collectibles hobby over
the past thirty-five years will instantly recognize this image, the
one and only original for the ubiquitous poster that was created in
advance of the historic autograph summit of sluggers known to
history as "The Original Eleven." Leading sports artist Ron Lewis
captures each smiling superstar in his prime--he was also
responsible for the other famous 500 Home Run Club poster that
finds this same cast of characters in full body poses against the
backdrop of the original Yankee Stadium.This oil on canvas work measures 24x18", with attractive frame finalizing dimensions at 28x22". Lewis signs and dates the painting at lower right. Fine condition.
