1909 T212 Obak Henry Melchior SGC NM 7 - Pop One, None Higher! Pacific Coast League (PCL) outfielder Henry Melchior played for eleven seasons, mostly for the San Francisco Seals, but also the San Diego Padres, and the Oakland Athletics. In 1909 Henry batted .298 and led the PCL that year. Offered is a fabulous example of his T212 "Obak" Mouthpiece Cigarettes card from their first of three annual baseball card promotions in 1909 which celebrated the thriving league. This is the ultimate '09 Obak in SGC holders. For the series, there are just under one hundred cards reviewed with almost 60% rated AUTH or POOR! This Near-Mint beauty is the highest graded card for the series with the next highest being a lone VG-EX+ in an SGC slab.
