Description
1909 E102 "Set of 25" Ty Cobb SGC VG 3. The intended producer of this set remains unknown a century later and it is possible no specific entity was ever intended. The mystery of the "E102" edition has done nothing to diminish its popularity among candy card collectors and is simply referred to as "Set of 25." Here we present the key card from the issue - Ty Cobb - of course.Graded SGC VG 3. A pleasing example with modest and consistent rounding of the corners. The classic image of Cobb, leaning on the lumber that made him a legend, shows just one stray and largely unobtrusive spot of black ink close our report making this, a treasured addition to any vintage or Cobb collection.
