1909-11 T206 Piedmont 150 Ty Cobb (Portrait-Green) PSA Authentic. Ty Cobb was quite possibly the greatest hitter ever. His passion and style of play resulted in a BA of .320 or higher for 22 straight seasons. Cobb later attributed his ferocious play to the death of his father, saying, "I did it for my father...He never got to see me play... But I knew he was watching me... and I never let him down." Offered is a T206 White Border tobacco card with a "Piedmont - 150 Subjects" advertisement with a factory 25 caption on the reverse featuring Ty Cobb via his now iconic portrait with that luscious green background.
