1887 N28 Allen & Ginter John Ward SGC VG-EX+ 4.5. Ward was one of ten Baseball stars and future HoFers featured in Allen & Ginter's "The World Champions" series from 1887/88. A literal parade of athletic talent, the N28 set includes personalities from a multitude of sporting endeavors. The color lithographs on white card stock are considered among the most attractive cards ever produced. The offered example has no major creases or wrinkles. There is edge chipping corner wear.
