1942 Jack Dempsey Signed Photograph. When the U.S. entered World War II, The Manassa Mauler enlisted in the New York State Guard and then the Coast Guard Reserve. The presented image from that time period pictures the former champ behind a radio station mic is inscribed and signed "To W.C.A.R.," Best of Luck From Lt.
