1972 Atlanta Flames Inaugural Season Women's Ring. Enjoying modest success on the ice from 1972-80, the Atlanta Flames struggled to draw fans, and after averaging only 10,000 per game in the early years of 1979-80, the team was sold and relocated to Alberta to become the Calgary Flames. Presented here is a Flames women's ring from the team's inaugural season. Displaying an attractive red stone at the top, the size 3.75 showpiece has "Jostens 10K" noted in the interior.
