Description

1972 Atlanta Flames Inaugural Season Women's Ring. Enjoying modest success on the ice from 1972-80, the Atlanta Flames struggled to draw fans, and after averaging only 10,000 per game in the early years of 1979-80, the team was sold and relocated to Alberta to become the Calgary Flames. Presented here is a Flames women's ring from the team's inaugural season. Displaying an attractive red stone at the top, the size 3.75 showpiece has "Jostens 10K" noted in the interior. Ring weighs six grams, while exhibiting minimal wear.
