Description

1932 Babe Ruth Called Shot World Series Game Three Ticket Stub, PSA Authentic (Altered). Perhaps the most disputed event in baseball history, Babe Ruth's "Called Shot" in the third game of the 1932 World Series will always be a point of contention among fans. Did he really point to the bleachers where his home run wallop would land right afterwards? Photographs of the event seem to suggest it, although naysayers claim he was simply pointing to the pitcher or the Cubs bench, which was heckling Ruth. Either way, "The Babe" silenced the dugout, the pitcher, and the Cubs fans alike when he nailed the pitch. Presented is a ticket stub to the historic contest. Exhibits tear, tape and paper loss. Encapsulated by PSA, Authentic (Altered).
