1997 Detroit Red Wings Stanley Cup Championship Salesman's Sample Ring. A dark-horse No. 3 seed in the Western Conference, the 1997 Detroit Red Wings made their second trip to the Stanley Cup Final in three years by defeating the Colorado Avalanche in a brutal six-game conference final series. This set up a finals matchup versus the Philadelphia Flyers, and the Motor City squad defeated its opponent in an amazing four-game sweep, led by finals MVP Mike Vernon.Presented is a size 11.75 ten karat (10k) gold 1997 Stanley Cup Championship salesman's sample ring which mirrors what the team received. "Stanley Cup 1997 Champions" surrounds CZ's and a team logo. One shank has: "Yzerman," NHL logo, "Hockeytown" and "19." Opposite side has "City of Champions" and a Stanley Cup logo.
