1996 Jerry Rice "16,000 Receiving Yards" Game Worn San Francisco 49ers Receiving Gloves- Used 11/24 vs. Redskins. On Nov 24, 1996 in a game versus Washington, Jerry Rice became the 1st receiver in NFL history to top 16,000 receiving yards, these are the gloves his legendary hands were wearing when he passed that milestone enroute to his untouchable record of 22,895 yards. Caked with grass stains and field chalk, these beautiful Nike receiving gloves are inscribed "16,000 receiving yards", while they have a spectacular football shaped "1000" patch on the front of each and a gold accented No. 80 strip tag on the back.
