Description

1909-11 T206 Drum Harry Steinfeldt (With Bat) PSA VG-EX 4 -- the Finest of Only Two PSA Graded Examples! It was one of the biggest hobby stories of 2009 when forty-one T206's (and eight T205's) were discovered in the long-lost collection of a Drum tobacco enthusiast, effectively doubling the known population of the advertising back in a single day. Presented is one of those cards that emerged from one hundred years of solitude to thrill the discerning breed of advertising back collectors. Harry Steinfeldt wears a Cubs uniform here, suggesting the card dates from the first two-thirds of the production run, as he would be wearing a Boston Rustlers (Braves) jersey to close out his Major League career in 1911.

Graded PSA VG-EX 4 This Drum specimen is one of just two in the PSA population for the "With Bat" variant. None exist for his "Portrait" entry. While there is mild corner wear, a light crease in the upper right corner area is the primary factor in grading, as the image area looks great, and the back is clean if perhaps a touch right of center.
