1996-97 Shaquille O'Neal Game Worn & Signed Los Angeles Lakers Jersey, MEARS A10 & Del Harris Letter. Plain and simple, the basketball world is better when the Los Angeles Lakers are good. Nothing stirs emotions like when the Lakers are in the title picture. In the summer of 1996, Jerry West revitalized the franchise when he pursued Shaquille O'Neal to sign as a free agent. Orlando has never quite been the same since the big fella left.The majority of Shaq gamers to hit the open market have had little provenance. This "Champion size 56" monstrosity has impeccable provenance. A signed letter from Del Harris will be included as is a MEARS letter which has graded this beauty a perfect A10. The jersey shows obvious wash wear and has light rippling on the front "4" numeral. A gold NBA logo is situated on one stirrup because it was the league's fiftieth season. Lakers exclusivity ("Body Length +6") and Champion size tags are in the tail. Shaq signed the front in bold black felt tip. Letter of provenance from Del Harris. LOA from MEARS, A10.
