1949 Bowman Satchell Paige #224 PSA NM-MT 8. The legend of Satchel Paige lives on. He was a showman with flair; a pitcher of enormous skill with the arm of a superhero. He had an unmatched repertoire of pitches. The exact amount of wins or games he pitched in has been lost to time, but it is probable that he appeared in more games as a pitcher than any other hurler in history. He also entered our culture as a wordsmith and a "one of a kind" character, much in the same vein as Yogi Berra. Paige's cards remain some of the most popular and sought-after in the hobby.
