1942 Johnny Evers Signed and Inscribed "Tinker to Evers to Chance" Government Postcard. It may be a short note, but you can't beat the content of this tough offering from the Chicago Cubs' diminutive second baseman. Evers begins with the "June 3, 42" date, going on to write, "Sincerely Yours, John J. Evers, 'Tinker to Evers to Chance.' Best Wishes".
