Description

1992 Roger Craig All-Star Game Worn San Francisco Giants Uniform. A baseball lifer, Roger Craig enjoy a distinguished career as a player, coach and manager during which he was a four-time World Series champion. He played on the 1955 and 1959 champion Dodgers, inaugural 1962 Mets, and 1964 champion Cardinals. Later, he managed the inaugural 1969 Padres team and coached the 1984 champion Tigers and 1989 N.L. champion Giants.

Offered here is Craig's complete uniform from the 1992 All-Star Game in San Diego. Six-button home white knit sports "Giants" across the chest and "Craig 38" on the verso, all sewn-on in black on orange tackle twill. Orange/white/black ribbed trim decorates the sleeve cuffs with the "San Diego Padres 1992 All-Star Game Patch" prominently displayed on the left sleeve. Tags include "Russell Athletic 46" and "2" Extra Body Length" in the tail. Includes matching pants with the correct tagging.

The uniform was worn during the first half of the season, as well, and exhibits appropriate manager's wear. A wonderful ensemble. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
