Perhaps only Wayne Gretzky could challenge Michael Jordan in balloting seeking to identify the most dominant figure of his respective major sport, but once you step outside the sports arena and into the wider popular culture, MJ leaves The Great One in his dust. He remains one of the most recognizable humans on the planet nearly twenty years after his retirement from the NBA.

The presented stub marks the lanky Tar Heel's professional debut, the opening game of the 1984-85 Chicago Bulls season. The heralded rookie would supply the first sixteen points of his career to the winning cause, downing the Washington Bullets 109-93 at Chicago Stadium.

Heritage regulars will recall our offering of the only known full/unused ticket from this contest making global headlines six months ago as our Winter Platinum Night auction saw it soar to a record $468,000.
