Description
1911 C55 Georges Vézina Rookie #38 SGC EX 5. The greatness of Georges Vézina is obvious when one considers he was among the 12-member inaugural class inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945. He was a man of slight build but he never let his thin frame keep him from becoming the man who many describe as the greatest goaltender to ever play the game. During his career he helped his team make it into five Stanley Cup finals including two Stanley Cup titles in 1916 and 1924. Vézina was the only man to play his position for the Montreal Canadians for 15 of those years and can be called the "Iron Horse" of hockey. Offered is a 1911 C55 Imperial Tobacco of one of the greatest goaltenders of all-time Vézina. Graded SGC EX 5.Auction Info
