Description

1968 Earl Morrall Game Worn Baltimore Colts Jersey. Widely considered the greatest backup quarterback in NFL history, Earl Morrall won three Super Bowls, and was even named to two Pro Bowls during his 21 seasons in the league. The No. 2 overall pick of the 1956 NFL Draft, who played his college ball at Michigan State, Morrall wore this extremely desirable Durene jersey most likely during training camp and preseason in 1968.

One of the nicest looking jerseys in our May catalog auction, the heavy blue garment displays gorgeous white tackle twill numerals on the front and back, while the "Bacharach Rasin Co." and "MacGregor size 46" tags are in the tail. Also most likely worn by Gary Cuozzo in the mid 1960's, and then carried over for one more stint by Morrall, it's an absolutely superb example representing the 1972 NFL Comeback Player of the Year. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
