1921 E121 American Caramel (Series of 80) Babe Ruth SGC Authentic. Offered is a scarce E121 American Caramel Series of 80 card from 1921. The Babe is still far and away the key card in the set. The caption on front reads "Babe Ruth, R.F. - New York Americans" without quotes. The full-figure image is of the Babe pitching in his Red Sox uniform, an image used for other sets of the era. The card has had pencil added into spaces on the obverse where there was surface loss. This affects the lower right quadrant. The reverse format is the one where the first line ends with "... of eighty of the." Encapsulated SGC Authentic.Auction Info
