1908 Rose Co. Postcard Frank Chance SGC 20 Fair 1.5 - None Higher! All of the 1908 Rose Company Postcards presented in this auction came from veteran collector and author Jerry Spillman. Mr. Spillman passed away on Nov. 28, 2020. Many greatly admired and will forever remember Jerry for his passion for Rose Postcards. The series was a labor of love for Jerry and Heritage Auctions is proud to have the opportunity to place cards from his personal collection up for auction. Our offered card is HoFer Frank Chance. Used in the mail with Chance related message, "This is the captain & Mgr of the Cubs" on the reverse. Graded SGC 20 Fair 1.5. This card is one of three graded FAIR with none rated higher from a total pop of just four SGC submissions.Auction Info
