Jose Fernandez Single Signed Baseball. José Fernández was a talented and charismatic right-handed pitcher for the Miami Marlins, whose promising career was tragically cut short. Born in Cuba, he defected to the U.S. as a teenager and made his MLB debut in 2013, winning NL Rookie of the Year with a 12-6 record, 2.19 ERA, and 187 strikeouts. Known for his electric fastball, devastating breaking pitches, and fiery competitiveness, Fernández was a two-time All-Star and one of the most dominant young pitchers in baseball. Off the field, he was beloved for his energy, joy, and connection with fans. He died in a boating accident in 2016 at age 24, sending shockwaves through the baseball world and leaving a lasting legacy of talent and inspiration.Offered is a Rawlings OML-Selig baseball signed by the popular hurler.
