1959 Roy Campanella Night Program and Ticket Stub. Offered is a game program and ticket stub for Roy Campanella Night on May 7, 1959 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. The New York Yankees agreed to make a special trip to Los Angeles to play the exhibition game during which Campy would be honored. The Bombers won 6-2 in front of 93,103, which set the record for the largest crowd to ever attend a Major League Baseball game. The program exhibits some chipping and discoloration but remains intact. The attendance and figure and game date was neatly written on the cover by the original owner in blue ballpoint. The ticket exhibits some mild handling wear. Original newspaper clipping attend.
