1950 Bowman Football Collection (40). The first full-color football set of the modern era. These cards were issued to the collecting public in six-card nickel packs with two pieces of gum, and are arranged so that trios of players from the same team are numbered in sequence. Offered is this 40-card collection with some duplication. Highlights include: #'s 5 Tittle (VG), 6 Groza (GD/VG), 16 Davis (VG/EX), 23 Van Buren (VG/EX), 26 Lujack (GD/VG), 27 Luckman (2: GD/VG, FR), 29 Dudley (VG/EX), 45 Graham (GD), 81 Rote (4: 3 EX, VG/EX), 100 Baugh (VG/EX), 103 Conerly (VG/EX). Remainder of the cards in this collection are #'s 19, 20 (2), 22, 24 (3), 25 (2), 34 (2), 46, 48, 62, 74, 79, 80, 91, 103, 104, 105 (2), 106.
