The 1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax baseball card is one of the most iconic and sought-after rookie cards in the hobby, representing the debut of a pitcher who would go on to become one of the most dominant arms in baseball history. Koufax peak years, from 1961 to 1966, are considered among the most dominant stretches by any pitcher in baseball history. During that time, Koufax won three Cy Young Awards (1963, 1965, and 1966), led the National League in ERA five times, and pitched four no-hitters, including a perfect game in 1965.
