Description

1980-2013 Baseball Historical Books from The Eric Nadel Collection. Longtime Rangers broadcaster Eric Nadel spoke for millions of northern Texans as he delivered the call after the last out that ended more than a half-century of drought. The 2014 Ford C. Frick Award Winner and member of both the Texas Baseball Hall of Fame and Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame had fought his way through a pair of disappointing World Series a decade earlier and a host of his own personal demons of depression and anxiety to arrive at the pinnacle of baseball joy, and he consigns this incredible collection to benefit local charities that serve the mental health needs of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.

The collection includes these offered publications from Nadel's personal library. The Hall of Famer signed each volume, making these offerings a truly unique addition to any Texas Rangers fan or student of America's pastime.

1980 "Spartan Seasons: How Baseball Survived The Second World War" by Richard Goldstein
2002 "Perfect" by James Buckley
2013 "Pages from Baseball's Past" by Craig R. Wright
2000 "Red Smith On Baseball"
1994 "1939: Baseball's Pivotal Year" by Talmage Boston
2002 "More Tales From Baseball's Golden Age" by Gene Fehler
