Description

2002 Tampa Bay Devil Rays Team Signed Baseball. The 2002 Tampa Bay Devil Rays endured a difficult season, finishing with a record of 55-106, the worst in Major League Baseball that year, and placing last in the American League East. Managed by Hal McRae, the team struggled mightily with both pitching and offense, posting one of the league's lowest team ERAs and run totals. Bright spots included outfielder Randy Winn, who was the team's lone All-Star representative, and Toby Hall, who showed promise behind the plate. Despite the poor results, the season was part of the team's early growing pains, as the franchise continued to search for a winning identity in just its fifth year of existence.

Offered is a Rawlings OML-Selig baseball signed by twenty-five-plus members of the squad. Among them are Greg Vaughn, Hal McRae, Toby Hall, and more. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
