1888 N79 Duke "History of Poor Boys" Jake Kilrain, Pugilist. Offered is a scarce N79 Duke, Sons & Co. "History of Poor Boys" 8-page booklet telling the biography of 19th Century pugilist Jake Kilrain. This series is wildly popular with modern collectors with few high end examples to be found. The offered piece has light creases along spine (along with some chipping) and one wrinkle in the back cover. Inside pages are a light cream color and very supple. The finely detailed cover portrait of Kilrain is unencumbered by condition aliments.Auction Info
